Asda Community – BBC Children in Need
Created in-store marketing material and a new look for the Asda Community board to highlight Asda's partnership with BBC Children in Need and their new project – Power of Play. The creative was designed to the BBC Children in Need guidelines utilising their Power of Play identity, colour palette, graphical elements and typography. The creative needed to be clearly identified as part of the 'Power of Play' campaign and provide all the information Asda customers would need when entering the Asda Community area e.g. what activities would be taking place as well as when and where. The poster, 3-way board and community board would also provide all the background Asda customers require to understand what the Power of Play campaign was all about. The yellow colour palette across all creative helped it to stand out against the Asda green and indicate it was clearly related to BBC Children in Need. An interactive element was added to the community board with cut-out illustrations of food for children to velcro on to the picnic blanket and in the process learn what makes a balanced diet.
